Mike Korger has an extensive background in vehicle maintenance and service dating back to his time as a member of the armed forces from 1972 – 2007. He served in the Army from 1972 – 1975 and the Army Reserves from 1975 – 1985. For over two decades he served in the Air Force, beginning as a general mechanic and working his way up to becoming the Base Vehicle Maintenance Superintendent at the 440th Airlift Wing for United States Air Force Reserve.

After Mike’s time in the service, he continued to utilize his skills and as a civilian worked as a mobile service technician for a forklift company. During his 24 years with this company, he become their corporate trainer and worked in that capacity for 11 years

Retirement hasn’t slowed Mike down and in November 2016 he started his own company, bringing with him the many years of technical expertise. Mak Safety Services is a fully insured member of the National & State Safety Councils.
