Fairchild Equipment was founded in 1985 as Yale Materials Handling. Under the leadership of Gary Fairchild, we gradually diversified our manufacturers to add other trusted brands, expanded our service areas to better serve Wisconsin, Minnesota, Northern Illinois, North Dakota and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We’ve grown from only a five person operation to over 280 employees. Now under the leadership of Gary Fairchild’s son, Chad Fairchild, Fairchild is all about possibilities for additional growth and expansion, while maintaining our operations as Family Owned.

Herc-U-Lift has one of the largest equipment inventories on hand in the Upper Midwest, stocking new and used forklifts, aerial work platforms, telehandlers, rail car movers, in addition to a variety of equipment focused on assisting businesses moving their products. Greg has been in the material handling industry in Sheboygan for 16 years. Living in Plymouth for the last 34 years, Greg has a strong understanding of the local economy and how important community ties are. He and Richard have worked together since Greg was able to turn a wrench.

In 1992, Rob Hebert established RH Equipment to service, rent, and sell used forklifts to small commercial and light industrial businesses. The company’s reputation for honest service quickly grew beyond Milwaukee to all of southeastern Wisconsin, Green Bay, Madison, Chicago, Chicago suburbs and northern Illinois
